Private lessons are available only to music majors who have auditioned and been accepted by the Music Department. Additionally, you must meet all of the criteria for lessons eligibility:
- be taking and passing your core classes (theory, ear training & piano - Undergraduates only)
- be concurrently enrolled in one ensemble for each ½ hour of lessons
- College GPA > 2.0
You will be contacted during the first week of school by your private teacher, who will arrange a weekly time to meet with you. At this time, your instructor will give you a Permit Number with which you can register for the class.
Note: you cannot register for lessons in advance!
