Students can drop a course through their MySFSU page. Please check the drop deadline on the university calendar, http://oi.sfsu.edu/cgi-bin/student/webcalendar.htm. After the drop deadline the student must speak with the instructor about withdrawing from a course, following the withdrawal guidelines, and a 'W' will appear on your transcript.
