Chamber Music provides students the opportunity to develop their skills in a collaborative musical environment. Students are placed in a chamber group (usually 2-5 people) which receives weekly coaching throughout the semester by our Quartet-in-Residence the Alexander String Quartet, and the International Center for the Arts Young Professional String Quartet. The ensembles receive additional feedback at a weekly master class with their peers, faculty members and distinguished guests, and give a number of recitals each semester.
Listen to “Beethoven's Piano Trio in C Minor, Opus 1 No. 3, Allegro con brio” performed by Vutu Nguyen (piano), David Boyden (violin), and Ian Rawson (cello).
